The inspiration behind Melrose Park interiors was Upper East Side Manhattan. Drawing on parallels between Manhattan and Sydney with their aspiring skylines, beautiful parks, tranquil waterways, cultured living, and elegant lifestyles; Melrose Park was designed to evoke majestic beauty, timeless elegance, style and substance while offering a lifestyle of prestige and status. The apartment interiors, offered in two interior schemes, were designed to reflect a refined aesthetic with elegant proportions where careful attention was paid to the selection of materials with an emphasis on texture.

The Park scheme …Manhattan by day … was based on refined, pared back simplicity with dominant whites and washed timber accents. The Urban scheme … Manhattan by night … by contrast, offered elegant classic lines associated with Park Avenue apartments and city living.  Clean lines, simple natural materials, soft matt finishes, warm tones and subtle layering were chosen rather than flat, high gloss and minimal detailing.
