BRC Eagle Farm Racecourse QLD

The Brisbane Racing Club project provided us with the opportunity to design a premium integrated mixed-use development by incorporating multiple defined and interconnected precincts offering residential, retail, commercial, and recreational services.

The aim of this project was to integrate public and private uses in order to transform the racecourse environment into a vibrant social and economically viable hub. Our master plan provided a place-based approach to create a built form, landscape, and public realm legacy that embedded the culture of racing into an everyday experience for the community of Brisbane.

The Eagle Farm and Doomben Racecourses already had many benefits of having a rich heritage fabric, significant amenity, inner-city location, and an existing lifestyle street. We incorporated this knowledge into our design solution to amplify the racing culture by bringing it to life through the sensitive, yet exciting redevelopment of the Residential and Village Precincts.
