164 Grey Street Retail Tenancies QLD
164 Grey Street is an existing 4 storey office building in the Southbank precinct. As the building tenancy mix changed the new owners made the decision to reconfigure the ground floor to re-purpose and maximise the area for retail/restaurant tenancies.
The design from the studio team required stripping out the entire floor, reconfiguring the lobby and amenities, new shopfronts with bi-folding doors, new awnings and outdoor eating areas and refitting services to suit incoming restaurant tenants.
DC8 Studio also coordinated the tenants fit-out works. This transformed the entire perimeter of the ground floor from some introspective office space into highly successful active shopfront which opens up in wide expanses to the street.
